I believe law as results means PERSISTENCE. Persistence in the pursuit of excellence. Persistence to find innovative solutions to difficult problems. Persistence to build enduring relationships with clients. And the persistence and vision necessary to turn long-term goals into reality.

Before I became a lawyer I managed luxury hotels and nightclubs. This experience taught me to look at everything as a businessperson, to see the risks and the opportunities for profit. But I also saw how often the law serves to dampen the entrepreneurial spirit and diminish the rewards of hard work. I became a lawyer to make the law work for business, instead of standing as an impediment to success.

Solving legal problems is a process. It involves careful listening to understand the problem, bold thinking to solve it, and diligence to implement the solution. Persistence is essential to each of these steps: the will to press on in the face of adversity, the determination to unravel complex legal issues, and the tenacity to relentlessly pursue my clients’ goals. My commitment to persistence in every aspect of what I do is what allows me to achieve RESULTS.
